Greece - The Parthenon Canada - Niagara Falls
I am sure you are wondering about the name HelCan. It is a composite word from two of my beloved Countries Hellas (known as Greece in English) and Canada. I lived in both Countries starting from the tiny Greece with all its old Glory and one day coming to Canada to spent more than half of my life here.

I hope this fairly new Website, http://www.helcan.com/ will be our homepage with some links to our other pages and Websites. and hopefully with your help try to add some substance here over and above the issues that are discussed in our other sites. Let us start with a short description of our various sites.  All links below will open in the same page, If you wish to open in a separate tab or browser, right click on the link and select as you wish.

Our oldest site was www.sellshareandexchange.com with many manual HTML advertisements, most of them with pictures, under the theme of Sell, Share or Exchange mainly properties, all over the world.

http://www.helcan.com/waa-Greeks/  this one is our newest Website and at the moment has only one introductory page. The theme is a new movement going on at the moment almost Globally, with the title "We Are All Greeks" This movement is a global support from Friends of Greece, after the criminal behavior of most of the Greek politicians and the reactions , as well as, demands from some of the so called friendly Countries.

www.sellshareandexchange.com   This domain is now abandoned and only one page remains to advise advertisers where they can post their self directed ads. Many Links in the single page do not work.

www.ellada-mas.com/Drupal/ is an experiment is Drupal, a very well known content management software, hosting many websites, with its own peculiarities and problems at times.

http://www.zhteitai-komma.com/ is a Website only in Greek and deals with the present political mess of my country Greece. The title means “I am looking for a political Party” and I suppose it says it all. This site is based on Drupal also. Μόνο στα Ελληνικά για τα προβλήματα της Πατρίδας μας.

http://www.zk.ellada-mas.com/, for now at least it includes some main articles from  www.zhteitai-komma.com and may diversify in other areas as well

Finally http://www.ourads.helcan.com/ is one more Website based on Wordpress, basically a blog. We hope to modify the structure to include small personal blogs and also a place for self directed ads. This site is now ready to accept your input (new mini blogs and ads for many themes) mainly in Greek and some English.  Αυτές οι νέες μας σελίδες είναι τώρα έτοιμες να δεχτούν τα δικά σας Μίνι Μπλογκς και τις διαφημίσεις βασικά στα Ελληνικά και λίγα Αγγλικά και σε πολλά θέματα, καλωσορίσατε.

Ακόμη ένα: http://greece-mylove.com/wp/  μια νέα ιστοσελίδα μόνο στα Ελληνικά. Το θέμα είναι για την Ελλάδα που όλοι αγαπάμε. Ξεκινάμε με ένα ψάξιμο, το ποιοι μα την αλήθεια ήμαστε. Ελάτε όλοι να βοηθήσουμε. Μπορείτε να φτιάξετε μόνοι σας λογαριασμό χρήστη από την ιστοσελίδα (Κάτω από το "Meta"), ή στείλτε μας ένα μήνυμα από αυτήν την σελίδα, χρησιμοποιώντας τον σύνδεσμο CONTACT US στο πάνω δεξιά μέρος και κάνετε αναφορά σε νεό λογαριασμό χρήστη για την greece-mylove.com/wp/  Οι νέες σελίδες βασίζονται στο πρόγραμμα WordPress.

Finally and I hope this is the last: http://www.gr-toronto.com/ is our newest website, still in the early stages. It will be dealing mainly with the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) of Ontario, Canada. It will be including two areas: Mini Blogs and Picture Advertising . Main language is English. Other languages can be added if there is a demand, but we will need moderators for any other language other than English and Greek. Send us a note using the contact form.

These new pages are based in one amazing and very promising software: “Get Simple” For now there is only one user. We can add new users but unfortunately for the time being it will be impossible to guarantee privacy from user to user. This means that any user who is logged in, will be able to edit or even delete articles that belong to other users. We expect that this will be solved soon and then we will start adding more users and make this website a Center for Global Friendship. For now if you wish to add comments that they will be placed directly under a specific article, there is a very simple method: Send us an email using the contact form (top bar to the right) with your comment, making reference to the article title where the comment belongs and the name or a user name (not your real name) that you wish to sign your comment. Your email remains private and anyone who wishes to communicate with you will have to make reference to your user name and contact you through us.
